Journey Mapping Across Canada– Black LGBTQ+ Justice, Sexual & Mental Health

The Journey Mapping Project, sought to gather information on the experiences and barriers faced by ACB 2SLGTBQI+ youths as they navigated services for:

  • Mental health
  • Substance use and addictions
  • Sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBI), and
  • Criminal justice involvement – for the ACB community.

The two goals of this project were:

  1. To improve support and skills and share programs and interventions that have a positive impact on the mental health and well-being of ACB 2SLGTBQI+ communities.
  2. To develop a culturally responsive training course that service providers can use to better support the ACB 2SLGTBQI+ communities. The goal is to improve support & skills and share programs and interventions that positively impact the mental health and well-being of ACB 2SLGBTQI+ communities

The training program can be accessed via the following link. Please note that by accessing the link you will be leaving the Ribbon Rouge Foundation’s website.
